About Sierra

Sierra (they/them) is lighting and video artist for live events with a MFA in Design and Technology from San Diego State University. Their experience ranges a wide array of events such as theatre, dance, ​concerts, private parties, fundraisers, and corporate events.

 

Their recent theatrical credits include the North America premiere of Ride (Assistant Lighting Designer, The Old Globe), Destiny of Desire (Assistant Lighting Designer, The Old Globe) Kaleidoscope (Lighting Designer, Jason Mraz Foundation),  No Man's Land (Projection and Lighting Designer, Irondale) and TL;DR: Thelma Louise; Dyke Remix (Diversionary Theatre, Projection Designer).​ When not working in theatre, they can regularly be found programming the projections at the Ziegfeld Ballroom, running lighting maintenance calls at the Oculus, or visiting a board game cafe.
